Elite Pacific Construction was awarded the Prime Contract on this design-bid-build contract to construct a complete tenant improvement fit out of 9,200 SF for Kaiser Permanente’s Wailuku Clinic within an existing shell. The project scope of work included providing new underground utilities to service the dozens of clinical rooms and restrooms within the existing concrete slab on grade. Interior finishes included new drywall walls, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile walls and floors, resilient flooring and carpeting, high impact wainscot paneling, cabinetry, glazing systems and painting. Complete electrical and mechanical distribution systems, including a structural steel mezzanine to house major equipment, were constructed to facilitate the tenant improvements. Installation of Owner-Furnished medical equipment and supplies were also included in the project scope of work.
